Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is the process in which a Licensed Mental Health Professional helps a single person work through the personal struggles he/she is facing. It is effective treatment modality for a variety of emotional difficulties, behavioral issues and mental illness.
Family Therapy
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that can help family members resolve conflicts and improve communication. Family Therapy is usually provided by a Licensed Therapist or Psychologist.
Group Therapy
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one or more therapist treat a small group of clients as a group. Group therapy is usually provided by a licensed therapist or psychologist.
Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy (also marriage counseling, or marriage therapy) attempts to improve romantic relationships and resolve interpersonal conflicts. Couples therapy is usually provided by a licensed therapist or psychologist.
Telehealth (Online Therapy)
Telehealth (Online Therapy)
Telehealth allows you to participate in therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home or office using a computer, cellphone or tablet. We use a HIPPAA compliant program called Simple Practice that is similar to that of Skype or Facetime with additional security features.

Psychological tests are written, visual or verbal evaluations administered to assess the cognitive and emotional functioning of children and adults. Psychological tests are used to assess a variety of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement and ability, personality, and neurological functioning.

Drug and Alcohol Testing
UMHS provides drug and alcohol testing for individuals and companies. We can schedule a drug or alcohol test for pre-employment, post-accident, random, probation, court-ordered, DUI, personal, and more. We offer both oral and urine drug tests.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Substance Abuse Treatment
Substance Abuse Treatment focuses on treating patients who have a chemical dependency on drugs and/or alcohol. The sessions are usually provided by a licensed therapist or a certified substance abuse counselor.
Anger Management
Anger Management
UMHS offers a 6 week or 8 week anger management program designed to help individuals recognize their anger and develop a healthy way to manage their anger. The sessions are facilitated by a Licensed or Qualified Mental Health Professional.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

UMHS offers confidential short-term counseling, assessments, referrals, and follow-up services to individuals who have personal and/or work-related problems. EAPs address a broad and complex body of issues stress, anxiety, alcohol and drug abuse, family problems, and psychological disorders.

UMHS provides Grief Counseling to individuals and families. Grief Counseling is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help people cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive response to loss. Grief counseling is usually provided b a licensed therapist or psychologist.
Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is guided hypnosis, or a trance-like state of focus and concentration achieved with the help of a clinical hypnotherapist. This trance-like state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even one's own thoughts or meditations.
